Basement Renovation - Part 1

The basement has been a work in progress since we moved in.

Lets start at the very beginning.  This was our basement when we did our walk through, October 2007.

The first thing we did was put in a new door

Then this back corner of the storage room became the bathroom.

So we've now put in a new door, installed a bathroom, and painted the paneling white.

Fast forward a year or two and we find out we have a problem with our main sewer line, and it's not outside the house, it's inside the house (and as we are soon to find out, there is a break in the pipe in our foundation wall as well, spectacular).  We sigh a big breath of relief, thinking, wow good thing we haven't remodeled the entire basement yet!

Matt spends 4 days straight working on fixing the sewer line while his extremely pregnant wife and 2 year old go else where (who wants to hang out in a house with no water!?)

So along comes Summer 2012.  Matt promises me no projects.  Camryn is a few months old, Madelyn is 2, we want to enjoy the summer as a family, you know, doing fun things.
