Apple picking

We had a nice week last week and a fun weekend despite the girls having another round of colds/coughs.

Camryn ran up to me laughing, she put a sticker on her nose and thought it was hilarious.

What I found more hilarious is when she turned around and had a sticker stuck in her hair...she didn't think that was too funny when I had to rip it out.

The girls and I being silly before bed.  They were both cracking up.  There's nothing as wonderful as the sound of your babies laughing.

Camryn loves to take the baby doll stroller on walks.

And Maddy walks Callie.

Matt's been doing some work at the preschool and he fixed their fish pond pump.  They even recognized him on the white board.  Maddy's friend Trent has been running all over the school telling everyone that Maddy's daddy fixed the fish pond.

Again with the baby stroller

Maddy loves riding her big wheel.  This picture is Wednesday after school.  Wednesday morning she insisted on dressing herself for school, she was wearing this shirt with dogs on it, black leggings, and a big yellow tutu.  She wanted to wear bright pink shoes too but I convinced her into her silver boots instead.  Everyone at school thought she looked very cute...she sure does have opinions when it comes to her clothes.  She also cries every time we pick her up from school.  Last night I asked her why and she told me because she wants to stay and play with Sydney.

Mom came over last week and brought the girls stuff to paint.  Maddy made a crown...which she covered with about 50 buttons.

And Camryn made a pumpkin.  (my mom though it'd be a good idea to put plastic bags on the girls so they didn't get dirty...it worked).

Friday we went apple picking.  We went to Hollin Farms and had a great time.

We went through the corn maze

We picked kale.

The view was amazing.  It was so nice!!

Camryn loves putting the strainer on her head like a hat.

Friday night we had friends over.  Maddy, being sick and having spent the day apple picking, was exhausted.  She fell asleep on the couch, for maybe the 2nd time in her life.  We had to get a picture.

Again, Maddy dressed herself.  She loves dresses that go "down and down and down" as she says...aka long dresses.  So this one was her pick this weekend.

And here's Camryn, swinging from the beam on her playground.  This girl is a monkey!

Saturday mom and Dana came over while Matt did some work at the preschool.  Gammy and MiMi took Maddy to dance while I got some chores done at home and put Camryn down for a nap.  We all had lunch together after dance.  It was a very nice day!

Sunday we watched football.  Maddy kept herself entertained matching and lining up bottle caps.

Camryn played with scotch tape.  You can't see so well here but she had it wrapped around her necklace, around her leg, and the tape dispenser was having down between her legs, it was hilarious.  Not only does Camryn love tape but her and her toiletries, I can't get over it.  She is literally obsessed with toothpaste, vapor rub, vaseline, baby wipes, lotion, you name it, she scales the cabinets to get to these items shouting more and eventually breaking down in to a frantic tantrum when told no.

Last night before bed the girls were riding their big wheel together.  It's so cute when they're not fighting they're literally on top of each other.

Welcome Fall

Sunday was the first day of Fall.  I can't believe it.  Seriously where did September go!?

Life is great.  The weather has been beautiful, Maddy's slowly adjusting to preschool, Matt doesn't have any projects going on which means we get a lot of nice family time.

Maddy now loves to carry a huge basket full of babies (and cars and whatever else she can find) around with her, out to the porch, into the family room, up to her room, you name it.  At bedtime she has to lay them all out on the bed or floor.  She spends so long doing this it cuts in to book time, but she doesn't care.  Taking care of her babies is her nighttime priority.

Smiling before preschool the other day.

We like to spend most of our free time on the porch.  The girls are watching cartoons before bed while eating a snack.  We LOVE our porch.

Both girls love playing soccer.

Daddy showing Maddy how to jump rope.

We had friends over Friday.  The girls love playing with their friends!

Maddy decided she wanted to ride on the car too.  It is definitely not made for 2 but they made it work.

Maddy and I made cookies and here she's sharing the dough with Camryn.

How cute is she in her leotard and apron!?  She had dance class Saturday and didn't want to take her leotard off afterwards.

We love when Whitney comes to visit.  I really am so lucky to have such a great friend who loves coming over and spending time with my kids!

Maddy rocking her Flacco jersey and putting her babies to bed.

Camryn and I made homemade pancakes Sunday.  Then Maddy came down in time to help me pour and flip them.

Maddy loves watching football with her Daddy.

Austin and Zach came over for football too (picture courtesy of Maddy)

I think she likes football food more than the actual game.

I had to work a little on Sunday so Matt and the girls hung out.  Camryn literally hung out

And they made a paper mache Mickey.  Very impressive daddy!

Camryn's 18 months

Camryn turned 18 months while we were at the beach.  She celebrated her 6 months at the beach and exactly a year later her 18 months.  Lucky little girl!  She had her 18 month appointment yesterday. Dr. said she's doing great.  We determined that she is an agile, strong willed, goofy girl.  Dr. wants us to put her mattress on her floor considering she is so agile and has no trouble climbing out of her crib or pack n play.  She said the sleep sac will only keep her contained for so long.  The thought of Camryn on the loose scares us!

Camryn loves to do big girl things, brush her teeth, feed herself, sit in a big chair, use the potty.  She adores her sister and LOVES animals.  She probably says about 20 words ranging from "more" to "vamanos". She has this grin that's just contagious.  We'll be out and I'll hear people behind me talking and I look back and Camryn is smiling and flirting with them over my shoulder.

Here is a video of her and Maddy playing.

She loves her belly.  Her sleeping habits are all over the place varying from sleeping all night to waking 2-3 times. She always gets up before the sun...430-6am.  Crazy girl.

Camryn loves toiletries   Her biggest tantrums are when I take things away from her like deodorant, lotion, Vaseline, sunscreen, chapstick, hand sanitizer, you name it.  This weekend she found a mini deodorant in a bag of mine and after rubbing it all over her face decided to rub it all over the coffee table.

Camryn loves being outside.  This is a cute video of her trying to pick up this ball.  It was so funny because she wouldn't set down the bat in order to use 2 hands to pick up the ball.  But she was determined.

Camryn's 18 month stats.
