Dancing Fool

Camryn loves to dance. You put on music and she's a dancing.

At almost 10 months old she easily stands on her own (not walking yet like daddy predicted).

She LOVES peek a boo. She will cover her head with anything she can find and just crack herself up.

Maddy is such a great big sister. Always wanting to play with and hold her. Lately she hasn't been to keen on me taking her picture though.

Dog or Coffee Table?

Looks like Callie was serving many purposes last night. Not only was she our sweet pup but she also served as Maddys personal necklace and drink holder. What a sweet girl our Callie is.

Sadly Matt doesn't waste any time and started taking down our Christmas decorations. Camryn was very interested in what he was going, watching his every move.

Maddy has been up a lot tonight with a cough...hoping she can kick this soon. It makes me sad to hear either of my girls not feeling well and these colds just won't go away!

Christmas Day

Santa Came!!

Camryn woke early on Christmas morning so we spent some time in the playroom waiting for Maddy to wake up.  Matt made us a yummy breakfast casserole.

And Cash guarded the gifts until Maddy woke up



This was Madelyn's 3rd Christmas so she's becoming a pro at present opening.

In the afternoon my family came over and we had a delicious dinner and opened gifts.  The girls got all kinds of fun new things, and cute new clothes!  Overall we had a wonderful Christmas.  I'm so sad it's over now.

It snowed the day after Christmas so this is a picture of Maddy watching the snow fall.  Unfortunately it quickly turned into a nasty rainy day so no fun was had out in the snow.  Keren and her family came over that night though, so we had another wonderful dinner, YUM!

 Kerens dog Oreo...Camryn was trying to figure out why this dog was so little.  It was hilarious, Oreo was barking and Callie and Cash through the gate.  With a gate in between them he thought he was all big and tough.

Christmas eve

The day before Christmas Eve Mimi and the cousins came down to visit.

Today we went to MD to celebrate Christmas with Matt's family. As usual the girls had a great time and we all received some wonderful gifts.

 Hmm which book do I feel like reading...

 Maddy gave everyone her homemade ornaments which were adorable. We made the dough, used cookie cutters, baked, then painted them. Lisa and Shane came over and brought dinner tonight. Maddy and Camryn had a blast playing with both if them.

Peanut butter cookies (made by Kiley and Maddy) have been set out for Santa.

It's 9:45pm on Christmas Eve and I'm up for the third time tonight with Camryn! Last night she was up every 2 hours so it's an understatement to say I'm tired and scared what tonight holds.

Girls are in their matching pjs and at least Maddy is sound asleep (hopefully no Santa nightmares tonight).



Can't wait for tomorrow, just hope I'm coherent enough to enjoy it.

Air and space museum

Today I had a hair appointment so Matt took the girls to the Air and Space museum. Maddy and Keren rode the flight simulator and the close up below is Maddy in the simulator. Maddy loved the airplanes and they all had a wonderful time.

I also must mention that the hair dresser couldn't believe that I had two kids because I looked so young, she sure knows how to sweet talk her way to a good tip. Then she gave me a free eye brow wax...that's when I started to think she just felt bad for me (poor disheveled woman looks like she hasn't slept in 9 months, what can I do to help her?). Regardless of her reasons she was great and I left feeling good. I met up with Matt, Keren, and the girls for lunch.

We danced around the family room tonight. It was so cute, Maddy resting her head on daddy as they danced in the family room. Camryn had fun playing under the end table. She loves being under things, it's so funny.

Whit came over tonight and brought dinner (best most generous friend EVER)! And now I'm putting Camryn down and hoping she doesn't wake every two hours like she did last night. (**update- she woke every two hours, I'm tired times a million)
