Hershey park

I'm officially a week behind.  We went to Hershey 2 weekends ago and had a blast.  Our friends were kind enough to invite us on their trip to Hershey and we were so excited to go.  This was the girls first trip to an amusement park and they LOVED it.

We did the trip all in one day so left early Saturday morning and the girls were so good on the car ride there.  We were there in no time and couldn't believe the girls didn't complain or anything for the entire 2 hours...miracle!

Once we got there and were waiting for our friends the girls decided to melt down...but we got them a donut and they quickly got over it once we entered the park!

We did everything, we played skee-ball (which is quite dangerous with 4 little ones who don't have the best aim and choose to throw the ball instead of roll it).

There were a handful of rides that all the girls could ride, except Camryn but she was a trooper.  We rode the cars with her a few times while the other girls rode some rides she wasn't able to ride.

Geoff and the bigger girls on the tea cups.

No need for a double stroller...

Another big girl ride.

Cams was able to ride this mini scrambler all by herself so she rode this quite a few times.  It was adorable she would close her eyes and not hold on...little thrill seeker.

After riding the scrambler alone she met up with the big girls and they all gave her a big hug...Cams is in the middle somewhere.

Megan and I were able to sneak away to ride a roller coaster, it was so much fun!

The scariest ride the kids were able to do, in my opinion, was the Falcon.  Cams was even able to ride it!  Each kid rode with an adult and the ride swung around and went up in the air.  Once we got up there I was thinking I'd hear one of the girls scream or cry but they were cracking up, completely loving this ride!

We ended the day with the chocolate tour.  The girls were in awe and had to of been totally exhausted by this point as it was close to 8am and we'd left our house at 7am!  It was funny because as we were headed to the chocolate tour Maddy was in the stroller and Cams had been asking for chocolate milk.  Of course Hershey Park doesn't have a shortage of chocolate milk so we got her some milk and a few sips later she was bouncing off the walls.  It was hilarious, she just needed that little bit of milk to keep going haha.

We headed home and the girls were out.  Maddy was snoring before we got on the highway and Camryn was about 10 minutes later!  What a fun day!

Sunday my dad, Tammy, Christian, Chesney, Anna, and Zach came over and brought lunch to celebrate my birthday since we wouldn't have a chance to meet up again before my birthday.  We hung out front and ate lunch.  It was fun and the food was delicious.

Uncle Zach brought pop rocks.

Dad and Tammy offered to take the girls for the night and the girls wanted to have a sleepover so off they went!  By the time they got to dads they were covered in pink lip gloss they had found!

Monday they went to the new play area at Dulles Town Center until I met to pick them up.

I'd say the girls had a nice fun filled long weekend!!

Lake Anna

I'm playing catch up here...we went to Lake Anna two weekends ago and have been so busy I'm just now getting to the blog.

So the weekend before last we went to Lake Anna with Dad, Tammy, and Christian.  We had a blast.  The girls woke up and got in the lake and swam all day, Maddy would get out here and there to fish, and they'd go for paddle boat rides with daddy and boat rides with Pop Pop.

We got some night crawlers to fish with and the girls loved them.  Camryn adopted one of them and carried it around with her, and while she'd swim she'd have one of us watch it and then she'd get out of the water to check on it.  She took it on the boat ride, she held it (in the box) the whole ride home...she loved that worm.  Then we got home and she lost it while playing at a friends house haha.

Worm on the boat

Checking on worm while swimming.

Way out there in the paddle boat.

The girls wouldn't even get out of the water to drink anything so I had to hang off the back of the boat with drinks so they'd stay hydrated...spoiled I know.

They took turns shooting the pellet gun.

Camryn shot the can right off the stump on the first try so the reaction I captured (on the right) was funny.

In true form, Camryn didn't want to keep her clothes on.

Saturday morning Matt and I got to go for a nice 6 mile run at the lake.  It was so quiet and pretty.

Worm on the ride home.

After she lost worm at a friends she found a frog.

Last week we made side walk paint and the girls had a good time.

The girls cuddling on the couch.

I went out to Whitney's house one night to have dinner with Whitney, Courtney, and Whitney.  We had a great time and it was nice to get to spend some time with them!

Friday Anna and I took the girls shopping with us (so I could use my b-day gift card to loft from Dana!!!!).  We stopped by Whole Foods and Aunt Anna got the girls cookies and lollipops, ha.
