Weekend at PopPops

I don't have many pictures from the last week.  I want to use the excuse that we've been busy, but we had some snow last week and were actually home quite a bit.  Oh well...we were too busy having fun!!

So like I said, it snowed....

Unfortunately the only picture of the snow is of our deck.  It's hard to play in the snow and take pictures so that's my excuse.

When we weren't out in the freezing cold playing in the snow we were doing crafts, playing hide and seek, or cuddling on the couch

After awhile we started to get a little stir crazy...

Maddy was cracking herself up with her shirt on her head, running over to Camryn being goofy and making her laugh.

So by the weekend we decided to get out of the house.  We went out to dads on Saturday and him and Tammy offered to keep the girls for the night.  After we left their house Matt and I went to see Lone Survivor, such a good but heart wrenching movie!  We then went and got some things for dinner and spent a nice relaxing evening at home....much needed!!!

Meanwhile the girls were out on the town.  They went out to dinner...

And afterward went to Christians basketball game and then Sweet Frog for dessert.  Dad swears they were good but after having a sleep over in Camryns bed Friday night (which means Camryn keeps Maddy up playing for hours and neither get much sleep), and then all the excitement Saturday night I'm shocked at hearing they were able to contain any exhausted meltdowns!! Yay for the girls!!

I let them pack their bag for PopPops so they HAD to pack princess dresses and high heels.

Here they are waiting for the popcorn to pop.

Sunday I went out to get the girls and had lunch at dads.  We came home and just relaxed.  We have a little snow again this morning but nothing big.

Gosh I love these little faces....

Matt caught a picture of one of the many crazy fox that live out back and torment poor Cash...One of these days Cash may just get the nerve to jump the fence...I hope not though!

Snowy Days

This weather has been so crazy.  Monday seemed pretty nice, I think it was close to 50 degrees.  Today it feels like -10 outside, crazy weather....

Besides the crazy weather we've been having a lot of fun and doing really well.  I have to take a minute to talk about the girls!  Camryn is potty trained.  She wears a pull up at night but besides that she's completely potty trained..she likes to wear around 5 pairs of underwear at once, but that's ok.  She potty trained so easily.  She is such a big girl, we are so proud of her.  She has also been sleeping so well in her big girl bed.  It's amazing how fast both girls are growing up.  And Maddy, she just couldn't get any sweeter.  She protects her sister, she covers for her even, it's so adorable.  I just love seeing the two of them together.

Yesterday was a snow day so we were home with the girls.  They played outside and then we had hot cocoa.  The girls really only want the marshmallows.  Camryn just face planted into a pile of marshmallows and she had them stuck to her face.

They were so excited to go out they went out as soon as it started snowing...and about 3 more times throughout the day.

We stopped by Anna's house this weekend and she painted the girls nails, they loved them.  They were blue and then dipped in glitter.

Last week at school they cut the bottom off of water bottles and blew bubbles.  Maddy was telling me all about it and her teacher even got some pictures and sent them out.

It's been pretty cold so the girls have had to keep busy inside.  Matt makes them forts and when they get tired of playing in the fort, Camryn lays down making a sort of hammock and Maddy jumps over her...fun right!?

Whit came over with Abby this weekend and Camryn was hand feeding Abby, 1 piece of kibble at a time, it was adorable, especially considering Abby is typically pretty skittish...Cams is a natural :)

We also got to spend time with Uncle Zach and the girls love cuddling up with Uncle Zach.

They also felt that he needed his teeth cleaned...and pretended to do so with crayons.

We took the girls to get Frozen yogurt and Matt grabbed a bag of pop rocks for them.  They loved them!  But then again, who doesn't love pop rocks?

I can't remember where we were going here...probably headed out to get our fro yo...such cuties.

Here is Camryn with her little buddy last week.  They were dressed alike, 2 peas in a pod.

Camryn may be obsessed with underwear but she also LOVES brushing her teeth.  I find her in the bathroom all the time brushing her teeth.  Good hygiene goes a long way :)

Maddy's new thing is to stand on Matt's shoulders.  She thinks it's so fun.  We really need to get her signed up for dance or gymnastics or something again soon.

Aside from all the fun we've been having with the girls Matt and I have gotten back in to running.  Well I should be honest, Matt never got out of running, but I did :)  But I'm back on track now that I've signed up for a half marathon (9/14/14).  I have a long way to go but did run 5 miles on Monday which is the most I've ever run....yay!

January Birthdays

We've had a few January birthdays to celebrate.  Aunt Lisa had her birthday last week and Aunt Anna's birthday was yesterday!  Happy happy birthday to both of you, we love you!!

Last week we did crafts in princess dresses

And with underwear overtop of our pants

Camryn also likes to wear multiple pairs of underwear

Dad came over and hung out and the girls got mani pedis

Camryn even walked around pantsless...go figure

and shirtless in high heels

My friend Pam was in town and we got to hang out with her baby girl...so adorable..talk about baby fever, gosh she is precious!

Matt and the girls met up with dad at the air and space museum

Uncle Zach came over to hang out

The girls did some weight lifting

Maddy was being a big goof ball

We burned off some energy in the moon bounce

And cuddled on the couch to watch football with daddy

Oh and I made Paleo Football food, this pizza being an instant favorite!

The girls remain attached to their tablets/ipads whenever we let them.

This past weekend we asked the girls what they wanted for breakfast and Maddy said a donut.  She's probably had 3 donuts in her life so Matt put the girls in the car and took them to Dunkin Donuts to pick out their own donuts.  Maddy ate all of hers, Camryn ate very little.  Maddy has been eating a lot lately...she must be growing because she's been awfully hungry lately :)

We went to a winery to celebrate Aunt Lisa's birthday on Saturday and at the same time Anna and her friends rented a bus to go to wineries and celebrate Anna's birthday.  Mom watch the girls for us and we got out and had so much fun celebrating 2 of our favorite peoples birthdays!!

The girls also got to hang out with their little friend last week...how cute are they.

Christmas Eve Pictures

I've finally loaded a few of the Christmas Eve pictures.  I must be doing something wrong because the process of getting the photos from my camera to the blog has been horrible.  I still plan to put some more Christmas pictures up but am having some technical difficulties so for now here are some from Christmas Eve!

Camryn was bumping fists with everyone...
