Thanksgiving 2013

Is it already Monday...seriously?!  AND only a little more than 3 weeks until Christmas!  I feel like our plates are filling up quickly, so much to do, so little time.  We are really looking forward to the holidays this year, it's always such a fun, busy time of year.

Let's see.  Last week Matt and I joined Maddy for Thanksgiving lunch at her school.  Her class was in charge of the pumpkin pie and stuffing.  It was a lot of fun.

That night we went to Anna's house to do a little pre-Thanksgiving day prep work.

Maddy and Camryn helped Aunt Anna with her Cauliflower Gratin (which was so yummy and Paleo which was awesome!!)

Maddy helped make bacon wrapped dates, another super yummy creation of Anna's.

The girls sampled all the apples and pears for the pie

And Camryn ran around like a maniac

Thanksgiving day we spent over at moms.

We were also celebrating Austins birthday on Thanksgiving and he requested everyone participate in Movember by rocking a mustache.  I'm lame and wouldn't participate but the girls were very excited about it.

Austin looking awfully suspect in this picture.

Both girls have coughs and colds now so we spent Friday and Saturday getting out Christmas decorations, hanging out, and just relaxing.

Yesterday we had a birthday party at Little Gym and the girls LOVED it!!!  Maddy is such an awesome big sister.  She was holding Camryns hand, showing her how to do things and making sure she had an eye on her.  It was so cute.  Camryn is so lucky to have such an awesome, patient, sweet big sister (kind of how I'm sure Anna thinks of me, haha).

By last night we were all pooped.  Camryn covered everything in baby wipes.

And Callie

She also thought my pile of clean clothes (after her and Maddy threw them all over the floor) was a good place to rest.

Elf made his arrival Sunday, he showed up with a Christmas movie for the girls from Santa and then this morning, that crazy elf was flying through the kitchen with a Super Elf cape on!! Silly Elf....Maddy went between calling him "Shelf" and "Fry", so we're not set on a name yet.
