Maddy's teacher is always really good at sending photos of the fun things they do in class. The other day they made baked goods and had fun "selling" them to the other classes. I ask Maddy about school a lot and she loves all the teachers but says she loves her teacher, Mrs. Robyn, the BEST!!! It's so cute and she's learning so much
The other weekend we went to a winery with friends. What winery trip would be complete without princess costumes?! The girls dressed up and made a little fort under the table.

Last Monday was my day off but since it was Spring Break Aunt Anna and Gammy offered to watch the girls so I could go in to work. They had a special surprise planned for the girls. Sunday, Maddy was so excited that her and Camryn decided to pack lunches for their special surprise the next day.

They didn't end up needing their packed lunches because they got to go to the American Girl Cafe and have lunch with their baby dolls!
Camryn had to get some morning cuddles in with Callie.

She picked out her own outfit and was quite proud of it, and of course I was ecstatic because the outfit DIDN'T involve her sun dress or black dress which seem to be in constant rotation at our house.

I headed off to work and Gammy and Aunt Anna took the girls to the cafe. They were surprised and had a great time and apparently acted like they'd never eaten before and enjoyed all the food as well!

The girls are just as excited about spring as we are. The other day was quite chilly and they decided they didn't want to come in yet and they bundled up on the screened in porch to watch some cartoons and have a snack. I was inside making dinner. The girls are getting pretty independent and it's great because they can play together while we get stuff done. Of course they have their fights, which seem to be constant sometimes, but overall they play really well together and Maddy does a great job watching out for her sister. They have such great imaginations it's always fun to watch and listen to them play!

Camryn relaxing on Matt while he does push ups.

The girls love to put on shows for us.

Camryn's practicing her picture pose.

I'm so excited, we're building a garden! Not only has it given Matt a project (we know he loves to stay busy), but the whole family has joined in to help get the garden made and we can't wait to plant some seeds and plants and hope to have some delicious veggies this summer!

When the girls get tired of helping (which is pretty much as soon as we ask them to do something) they play together while we work on the garden. Recently their favorite thing to do is bring out blankets and dress up and play "princesses on vacation". I'm not 100% sure what that entails but they have a blast and we all get stuff done and get to enjoy the fresh air so it's been wonderful.

A work in progress...we need to finish the fence and haul in a bunch of dirt for the beds.

Matt took the girls to the creek behind our fence the other day and they walked around for a bit.

The other night we were all showered and bathed and relaxing when we got a surprise visitor! Key showed up to say hi!!! It was so nice to see her, we miss her so much!! Camryn got so excited she started running and grabbing random things to show Key, like shoes, and clothes, just so excited she wasn't sure what to do. It was adorable.

Camryn loves to play in the car.

Cash fell down the stairs the other day and was limping so we moved his big bed to the main level hoping he'd avoid the stairs if we did so. Poor guy, the girls decided they could all share the bed and jumped in with Cash.

We went to birthday party this weekend and the girls were playing in the basement. Maddy gave me a little pose.

And Camryn was dancing with a baby doll she found, and decided she loved so much they let her keep it.
