HMCDs Holiday House

Camryn had her preschool holiday house a few weeks ago and Gammy went with us to see her performance.  The weather was so nice they were able to perform outside on their stage!  Cams is on the top row of the bleachers on the left (second to last).  Here are a few videos from the performance...Here, Here, and Here.  I'm not sure I captured any of it on video but she was sitting next to her little friend (on her right) and they were being so goofy and at one point Cams even gave her a kiss on the arm, it was so funny and adorable!

Maddy went on a pony ride at the holiday house.

And the girls saw Santa.

It's been tough getting used to our new normal, without Callie around, but we also realize we have so much else to be thankful for....like this little nugget.

and this sweet girl...

and even this toothless knuckle head...

We also have amazing friends.  Our friends came over 2 days after Callie passed to hang out and try and cheer us up, it was a much needed break from the constant reminder of having just put Callie down.

The girls also had friends drop off little gifts for them which was so sweet and helped cheer the girls up.

With the mild weather we've been taking Cash on lots of walks and he even goes running with daddy now.  It took a few weeks for the reality of it all to set in for him and he actually ended up more depressed as time went on.  Callie left such a hole and luckily for Cash it made us realize how wonderful our dogs are and what unconditional love they provide so we're really trying to show Cash just how much we love him (as if he wasn't already spoiled enough :)

We go on walks at the creek.

We took the girls to Chuck E Cheese.  This actually was the night we had to put Callie down (unbeknownst to us at the time).  They had a good time and it's something we should stop and do more often, something out of the normal routine, just to have fun and be together as a family.

Cash gets lots of snuggles these days.

and I'm not sure if I shared this already, but the tree skirt fits Camryn perfectly...she's the size of a Christmas tree trunk.
